AIMAA Europe International Testing 2011

The Action International Martial Arts Association's International Testing was held on Saturday 24th September in Dublin Ireland. This was the first event of Grandmaster Hee Il Cho's European tour and he was joined on the testing panel by Master John D'arcy (AIMAA European Director) as well as Master Kirkwood, Master Byrne and Master Fitzgerald.

Two student's from Belgacem's School of Cho's Tae Kwon Do were very honoured to test in Dublin under Grandmaster Hee Il Cho and a panel of AIMAA Masters.

Daniel Rooney (Cho's Larkhall) and Stuart Gray (Cho's Hamilton) were the only Scottish students who participated in the testing and both performed to an extremely high standard.

Both students have been training exceptionally hard in preperation for this test, undertaking up to four classes per week with Mr and Mrs Belgacem. Hopefully this will pay off with positive results from Grandmaster Cho over the coming weeks.

Mr and Mrs Belgacem would like to also thank both of the student's parents who have sacrificed countless hours ensuring their children got to and from all of the training sessions.

There were over fifty students testing from across Europe with many travelling from as far a field as Jersey, Channel Islands. Students and Instructors ranging from High Red to Third Degree Black Belt pushed as hard as they could to acheive their next belt. All those testing were taken through all aspects of the AIMAA curriculum including linework, patterns, one steps and sparring, as well as finishing the test answering many theory questions asked by Grandmaster and the AIMAA Masters.
